Earth Plant Hire incorporates Earth Quarries (formerly known as Molong Limestone Quarry)

The Molong Limestone Quarry (MLQ) commenced open-cut mining in the early 1960s primarily for the production of agricultural lime and smaller quantities of limestone products, including road base and aggregates. The first Mineral Lease (ML 5589) was granted in 1956 (Cabonne Council, 1997).
Earth Plant Hire acquired the lease of the Quarry in July 2017.

Our service

We provide the friendly and convenience service. We are open from 7am to 4pm, weekdays, where you can purchase our products direct and with a number of payment options.

We focus on quality service and product. All products are produced on site by our staff to industry specifications utilising crushers and onsite lime mill.

Our trusted team

Murray Grimes

Murray is our Quarry Manager. He is responsible for overall production and sales of the Molong Limestone Quarry. Being a fully qualified diesel mechanic, with a wealth of experience in heavy machinery and managing crews, Murray ensures our plant and machines are maintained to the highest standards, so the quarry continues to run efficiently day in, day out. He is also in charge of managing the EPH fleet and freight movement.

Erin Bald

Erin is one of the smiley faces you will see at our weigh-bridge on the way in and out of the quarry. Erin is an experienced office administration and will be able to assist with any questions you may have.
